The speculation surrounding Nasri is not cooling down at all even after the Frenchman cam out and told us not to believe what we read in the newspapers and that if anything is to happen we will hear it from him. But that has not stopped people to continue to speculate and where there is smoke there is always a fire. So the stories linking Nasri with a move away from Arsenal should not be written off and instead we should keep one eye on them.

Today (Thursday) Skysports.com understands that Nasri is at the top of Manchester United’s shopping list.

Skysports.com understands Manchester United have stepped up their interest in Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri and they have identified him as the club’s top target.

This will make Arsene Wenger angry as he has said in the past that he will not sell to a rival team in the Premier League such as United. United want Nasri to replace Paul Scholes thus their efforts in trying to sign our player. With United having signed Phil Jones from Blackburn they seem set to continue their summer spending spree.

If Nasri wants to leave Arsenal then he can go but we can not sell him to United!
