Theo Walcott is speaking like a true Arsenal fan now and he is echoing what we the fans have been thinking for a long time. It is great now that a player has come out and warned Arsene Wenger that he needs to make some big signings this summer not only get get the spirits of the fans up again but in order for the big name signing or signings to come in a help Arsenal push to win trophies next season.

This coming season is do or die for a lot of people connected with Arsenal. It has been a while now (since 2005) that we have won something and this coming season we have to simply win something.

Walcott said at the launch of the Mars Just Play, “We have to win something next season, if we don’t then I think a lot of players will go I’m sure of that.

“A big club like Arsenal, being in the top four, the Champions League and then finishing fourth is disappointing – we need to be winning things, the manager knows that.

“I think it’s going to be tough in the Premier League next season; Manchester City look very dangerous, Liverpool are looking bright too.

“Obviously City winning the FA Cup, they are going to want more and more and they will feel confident after finishing third ahead of us so there is going to be a lot of teams challenging – it’s not going to be easy.”
