Ray Parlour believes that Arsenal would be making a big mistake if they let Arsene Wenger go this summer. The former Arsenal star also believes that this is the biggest summer in years for Wenger as he has a lot of rebuilding to do so that the team can be successful next season.
“I think Arsene will change in the summer, and he will bring in players,” said Parlour. “It’s a massive season for Arsenal next year, and a really big summer for Arsene Wenger.
“I think he needs to bring a few more players in and maybe let a few go as well, so this is where the manager has to earn his money.
“It would be madness if Arsenal allowed him [Wenger] to go as he has done wonders for the club. I know the fans are a bit frustrated but they have to keep hope in the fact that Arsene can find a few gems.
“And with Thomas Vermaelen coming back from injury, hopefully we can have a real push next season.”
