At this time of the year, there is a lot of transfer speculation and you can never keep up with who is going where and what to believe or not. One thing is for sure, Arsenal are going to spend this summer and they are going to buy a striker.
Many names have been linked with Arsenal and one link that does not seem to be going away is that of Lille striker Gervinho. Arsene Wenger is a keen admirer of the striker and he will sign him if the price is right.
Lille are saying that they want £15million for him which I think is fair enough, just look at Liverpool, they wasted £35million on Carroll!
Gervinho wants to play in the Champions League and joining Arsenal will give him the chance to do so ahead of Liverpool who are also eying the striker.
