At this time of the year, there is a lot of transfer speculation and you can never keep up with who is going where and what to believe or not. One thing is for sure, Arsenal are going to spend this summer and they are going to buy a striker.
Many names have been linked with Arsenal and one link that does not seem to be going away is that of Lille striker Gervinho. Arsene Wenger is a keen admirer of the striker and he will sign him if the price is right.
Lille are saying that they want £15million for him which I think is fair enough, just look at Liverpool, they wasted £35million on Carroll!
Gervinho wants to play in the Champions League and joining Arsenal will give him the chance to do so ahead of Liverpool who are also eying the striker.

First of all Gervinho is a winger who can play as a striker he will join arsenal as a right winger not a striker and yes wenger should spend 15m on him and possibly more if necessary

I dont think Wenger should sign another player from France cos Chamark was a bang at Bordeaux and we all see his contribution to Arsenal when he got to the Emirates
I think some people forget the form chamakh (ie. Soji) was in before the return of RVP, but i do think we should sign this dude. great player who could replace nasri if he leaves
