Lukaku could still sign for Arsenal

|

Belgian striker starlet Romelu Lukaku says he wants his future sorted out early next week after representing Belgium this weekend in their Euro 2012 qualifier against Turkey this weekend. Lukaku has been linked with a whole host of teams this summer but he is set to move to England and Arsenal is a possible destination for the 19-year-old sensation.

Arsenal need a new striker and Lukaku would fit the bill perfectly but the £20million his club Anderlecht want may prove to be too much for Arsene Wenger to spend on one player.

Lukaku has been strongly linked with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham together with Arsenal. He wants to play Champions League football so that rules out Liverpool and Spurs.

“I would like my future settled by next Monday,” said Lukaku.

“My college exams start the next day and I don’t want any other concerns.

“I’ll be going to one of the top two or three clubs in England – or else I’ll stay at Anderlecht.

“I want to leave, because I want to score goals in a stadium where there are 50,000 people, and play in the Champions League.”

Arsenal is one of the top three clubs in England even though we finished fourth so chances are still there that we could sign this amazing player. The likes of Lukaku are the kinds of players we should be signing!
