Renewing contracts seems to be driving the chiefs at Arsenal crazy! Gael Clichy is one player who is stalling on signing a new contract as his current deal expires at the end of next season. With that in mind Liverpool having been keeping an eye on the situation and they may come in with a bid to take Clichy away from Arsenal as they need a left-back.
As much as I would not be happy if we sold Clichy, especially to a Premier League team, if the player does not want to sign a new contract and stay at Arsenal, then we must sell him. Wenger has told Clichy that he has three months to decide on what he wants or else he will be sold.
Inter Milan are now also reported to be keeping an eye on the situation as they may also come in with a bid for Clichy if we do decide to sell him.
