On March 29th 2015, Liverpool hosted a charity match featuring some former Liverpool players and other stars. One team was captained by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard and the other by former Liverpool captain Jamie Carragher. Although the game featured many iconic Liverpool players, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry impressed many at the age of 37.

Thierry Henry was picked by Gerrard to feature in his team. Although the Frenchmen did not score or create an assist, he pulled off a piece of trickery that is going viral. Henry received the ball and ran towards the opposition’s penalty box. The Frenchmen deceived every spectator by winding up to take a shot from roughly 25 yards outs. Instead of shooting, Henry passed the ball to Ryan Babel with a fake-shot-pass that excited the crowd and demonstrated his ability.

The game ended 2-2 with Balotelli and Drogba scoring for Carragher’s team and Gerrard converting two penalties. Despite the goals, Henry proved that despite his age, he is still capable of creating magic on the pitch. If Babel had scored the pass, the assist would have further cemented the Henry’s legendary status – like it needed cementing!
