Santi Cazorla has been included in Spain’s first XI for La Roja’s Euro 2016 qualifier with Belarus tonight.

The little Spaniard has not been in the best form for Arsenal this season, but he did score THIS wonder goal against Iker Casillas in training recently so perhaps he has earned his starting berth.

Dare I suggest that the international break has been kind to Arsenal so far? Historically, our troops often feature for their national team in November and then return to us with snapped ligaments. However, they’ve been making the headlines for all the right reasons so far.

Danny Welbeck scored twice in England’s 3-1 win over Slovenia tonight, while Jack Wilshere delivered another fine performance in midfield.

Alexis Sanchez was also on target; scoring in Chile’s 5-0 thumping of Venezuela, while Lukas Podolski put speculation over his future to one side to help Germany beat Gibraltar 4-0 last night.

Hell, even former Arsenal man Nicklas Bendtner scored twice in Denmark’s 3-1 win over Serbia.

The Gooner, as pessimistic as ever, is expecting something dreadful to happen to Aaron Ramsey in Wales’s trip to Belgium tomorrow.

But so far so good for the lads.
