Emmanuel Eboue has agreed to join Turkish club Galatasaray according to talkSPORT. The Ivory Coast defender has been the subject of much transfer speculation this summer and it seems like he will be leaving Arsenal for £4million.
Eboue was a good servant for Arsenal since he joined the club 6 years ago filling in as a right-back or in midfield. Over the last couple of seasons, Eboue’s form started to dip at Arsenal and thus the decision to let him leave the club this summer. With Wenger having Sagna and now Jenkinson as right-backs, Eboue was surplus to requirements.
My last memory of Eboue at Arsenal will be the game against Liverpool last season when we had virtually won it in injury time only for Eboue to concede a penalty and Liverpool equalised to virtually shatter our title dreams.
What is your best or worst memory of Eboue?
I think prior to gettig rid of Eboue, we should start cleanning-out with Squillaci, Bendtner and Almunia. But, my opinion is that Mr. AW won’t sell Squillaci, as this will mean that he admits his failure in past transfer windows, so he well stay, even just for warming the bench.
I think we need a top forward (duo to RVP), Benzema or Mueller would suit the best. MF Eden Hazard + Scott Parker, and Samba + Cahill.

Please watch it again and realise that lucas bought the penalty and there was little eboue could do about it. Lucas purposefully stopped and let the ball run away and eboue couldn’t get out of the way. Lucas made no attempt to play the ball and the ref should have been wise to it.
That said it’s probably time eboue moved on. I don’t blame him for the liverpool goal, but he hasn’t had a great season. It’s a real shame because he was brilliant in his first season, really promising, but he never had the chance to develop into the top quality fullback he could have been because sagna was in his way.
Still, eboue has been vital in winning us a number of games against weaker PL opponents simply because he is very good at running at other fullbacks. Those games were really the highlight of his time at arsenal, but he also had good games against top opposition in previous seasons. Sad to see him go because he’s a nice guy, but I think it’s best for him and arsenal.
Good player, sad to let him go. IMHO as good as Sagna but he wants to play first team football so has to leave.

I think many arsenal fans have been very harsh on eboue for the past few seasons. He has been a great team player and he’s also one of the few committed players left in arsenal. He shld move on and i wish him best of luck for his future.

I hate seeinf Eboue leaving Arsenal and coming in as substitute, he is a great player. Every Arsenal players like him becuase he is a good person and friendly to all. We will miss u, and i wish him the best

There’s no need for many signings. Gervinho has come to replace Bendtner.
I only want Parker to come on a loan to replace Denilson, and a top CB bought with the money of Clichy’s and Eboue’s sales. Many say Samba or Cahill but I’d rather take Mertesacker. Big, strong and experienced.
